The 2024 wines have been bottled and the results have come in. We are running two ‘Taste of Research’ workshops to share some of the innovative research undertaken this vintage at our Research Winery.
The first event will be held Thursday 12 September on white varieties and the second Tuesday 26 November on Pinot Noir. There will be presentations and tastings of both BRI-led research and commercial trials.
The next event on Tuesday 26 November will focus on Pinot noir. Taste twelve single clone Pinot noir wines made at our Research Winery from the Otago Polytechnic/Riversun nursery clonal trial based in Bannockburn, Central Otago. The research aims to help guide future planting and replanting decisions by combining phenological, wine analysis and sensory analysis.
The event is free for industry to attend but space is limited to 25 people, so please register below.
