Spray Days Blenheim Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th & Wednesday 30th August will be held at a different venue this year; Marlborough Research Centre /  Wine Centre of NZ, located at 85 Budge Street Riversdale Blenheim. There will be no event held in the Awatere this year.

Spray Days Blenheim 29th August Day 2 has now SOLD OUT.

To promote a high quality event, we have introduced a $30 attendance fee this year to help fund the involvement of industry-leading experts, and cover costs for morning tea and lunch. Workshop spaces are limited each day.

Sprayer Masterclass: Setup, calibration, coverage, maintenance 

Correct sprayer setup and maintenance is fundamental for effective spray rounds. These practical, hands-on sessions for sprayer operators will cover:

• Sprayer setup and calibration for good performance
• Pre and post spray checks
• Assessing spray drift risk, and techniques for managing and reducing spray drift
• Sprayer maintenance tips - common areas of failure

Pest & disease sessions: Downy Mildew & Mealybug Control
Monitoring and early identification of pests and diseases is fundamental for good vineyard management. These two afternoon sessions will cover:

• When and how to monitor for these pests
• Early stage identification
• Options for control, including chemical and cultural strategies
