Eaton Wines was established in 2014 after the
families departure from the TerraVin brand which
they had established in 1999.
Mikes involvement in wine goes back to 1981 when Marlborough
was just beginning its surge onto the international
wine scene.
Consulting to over 1500 hectares Mike manages the
nutrition and disease programs for premium
growers throughout Marlborough and Nelson.
From among these growers, small
parcels are selected from the most exceptional sites.
The selected parcels are then tended by the family throughout the season before being hand-harvested. Production is tiny and reveals an obsession with getting the best from each special site and preserving that natural site reflection.
