GroCo is the company name of the Gisborne Wine Growers Co-operative. A band of 32 passionate Gisborne wine growers, united in producing and marketing New Zealands finest aromatic wines. The cooperatives wines are made by acclaimed local wine maker Anita Ewart-Croy at GisVin (Gisbornes only independent winery). This unique structure of grower and toll processor enables very competitive pricing. Gisborne 'terroir' naturally produces full fruit forward wines, our unique climate and soils do not require vines to be irrigated/fertigated, making Gisborne the most 'sustainable' growing region of New Zealand.
