Located in Waitaki's challenging yet ideal terrain, Clos Ostler produces wines known for their depth and complexity, including estate-grown Caroline's Pinot Noir and Audrey's Pinot Gris.
Founded by Jim Jerram and Jeff Sinnott, whose deep familial ties to the land span generations, the estate pioneers cool-climate viticulture in New Zealand. Situated on a north-facing limestone slope akin to Burgundy, shaped by geological forces that uplifted an ancient limestone seabed to form the modern Waitaki Valley, it nurtures low-vigour vines yielding intensely flavored grapes.
Under new custodians, the legacy continues with investments in the vineyard, infrastructure and brand to “polish the diamond” that is Clos Ostler.
