River-T Estate was planted by Murray and Karen Turner in 2007, as a small boutique vineyard with a mix of grape varieties. Situated on the banks of the Waitaki River, near the township of Kurow (40 Mins inland from Oamaru). We hand harvest our grapes from the end of April to mid-May, making it one of the last vineyards to harvest in New Zealand.
River-T Estates philosophy is to remain a small, boutique vineyards and focus totally on quality from the paddock to the glass. Enjoy our wines in our cellar door overlooking the vineyard.

Our River-T Cellar door has the largest selection of Waitaki Valley wines in the world. Not only stocking and tasting River-T but also our fellow producers wines in the valley.
We offer seasonal food . Platters ; soups; salads ;bagels and more. Enjoy a tasting paddle or a glass of Waitaki wine on our huge deck overlooking the vineyard. We encourage you to wander through the vineyard. We cater for children. We also stock the full range of our local brewer Scotts beer. Situated on the main highway between Oamaru and Omarama.
