Takatu vineyard & lodge is situated on a warm north facing slope on the hills above Matakana village overlooking the nearby Pacific Ocean.
Takatu produce ultra-dry Pinot Gris, Rosé and a red wine blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Malbec all distinctively individualistic. The grapes are handpicked from densely planted, dry grown, very low yielding vines which producing structured wine with flavour and concentration. Takatu wine is served in some of the best restaurants and lodges in the world, is available online, in selected retailers or by contacting us direct.
