We have been recycling and reusing wherever possible most of the restaurant, cellar door, winery and vineyard waste, such as cardboard, paper, glass and batteries.
We also distil all of our wine lees and grape marc with our German copper still, the fine is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years. The final product is very popular.
We have been using the most sustainable wine closure since we started; nothing beats cork closure when it comes to sustainability. Cork is the most environmentally-friendly stopper.
We have recently swap our bottles for lighter weight one and a closer manufacturer, which decreases our carbon footprint even further. All of our cardboard packaging is sourced from manufacturers who use a high percentage of recycled materials in their products.
