Our well is not often used these days. One day in the last three years. We collect rainwater off the winery roof and store in underground tanks for use in the winery as washdown. Tested every year and pure as the driven snow. Moves are afoot to fence off the nearby wetland area and regenerate the cover under guidance from Fish and Game. Plan to plant the gulley margins and riparian strips in native cover.
