One of the tenets of organic farming is not taking anything away and trying wherever possible to not bring anything in from outside. We reuse all the "waste" materials we can here and re-use them where we can. For example - many wineries dispose of their grape marc and stalks but we use them in our compost and then return that compost to our vineyard as a soil conditioner and fertilizer. We apply to the same philosophy to our "waste" water - we are very careful with the cleaning products we use here as all the washdown water we use in the winery goes back onto our paddocks to feed our cows and to grow our regen paddock that we make our own hay from. So we are taking full responsibility for the two biggest "waste" streams from our winery and reusing them to good impact
